“Look at the feathers, man! Look at the feathers!” (52 seconds in video)
Jeff Jansen leads Global Fire Ministries International, which is described as “Apostolic and Prophetic.” [1] The website claims, “Jeff flows in a strong prophetic and miracle healing anointing that releases the tangible Glory of God everywhere he goes.” [2]
Jansen’s alleged glory feather cloud is somewhat similar to the glory cloud (?) which occurred in Bill Johnson’s church some years ago. [3]
There is another similarity as well. In 2012, Bill and Beni Johnson each contributed chapters from their own books to The Physics of Heaven. Co-authored by Ellyn Davis and Bill Johnson’s personal assistant, Judy Franklin, with the Foreword by Bethel’s Kris Vallotton, the book is shocking in terms of its New Age/quantum mysticism implications.
Referring to the eleven contributors to The Physics of Heaven, co-author Ellyn Davis stated:
“[The contributors of the book] all agree that the next move of God will cause a shift at the deepest level of who we are—perhaps the very “vibrational level” that the New Age movement has been exploring. They also all agree that there are precious truths hidden in the New Age that belong to us as Christians and need to be extracted from the worthless.” [4]
Co-author Judy Franklin wrote, “This book is just a precursor to the revelation that God is going to give us when He releases a new, transforming sound.” [5]
As noted in The New Age Propensities of Bethel Church’s Bill Johnson, The Physics of Heaven “describes what God is supposedly going to bring about. A theme of the book is that God may somehow bestow incredible power on believers through vibrations/sounds/frequencies/energies, with “sound” mentioned a number of times throughout the book.” [6]
Note the commonality with Jansen’s expectations. Jansen wrote,
“The sound of the roar of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah is being released upon this generation. It will change and restore everything it touches right down to the core structure or subatomic level. That sound creates breakthrough, which enables transformation in regions, revealing the true intentions and purposes of God. Now, in our time, a generation must wake up from its slumber and rise to release the fresh, new sound of Heaven on the planet.” [7]
Jansen predicts,
“In this season, a new sound is being released upon the earth again, and that sound is ushering in a new era in the glory of God in nation transformation. The Lion of the Tribe of Judah is roaring again, unleashing His furious sound through a supernatural family.” [8]
New Age “Christianity” continues to rise.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. (1 Timothy 4:3-4)
